The issue isn't that you'd be overloading your new TH. The issue is that you'd be putting such a strain on your Expy that you'll not only hate the experience, but you'll prematurely wear it out a best costing you more money, and more likely create yourself a safety issue.
I'm not completely up on what's available in the TH world but even with many of the small ones I know of the GVWR is going to be higher than what your Expy can handle.
Oh, and your specs say the trailer you are looking at is 27', not 23'.
I believe that it means 27' includes the tongue.
