I differ. The "breakers" run the OutPut for AC. If the AC exceeds the camper's 30 or 50 volt system, then the main "breaker" pops, but that does not stop the 12 volt side from running and charging the battery. The 12 volt side output is regulated through the auto-style fuses in the converter. If all the "fuses" are pulled, it will still charge the battery. The only thing that will stop the battery from charging is a battery cut off switch. That's how mine works.
