It is easy to have too little truck. You can almost never have too much truck, so the saying goes.
Assuming you want to keep the current truck for awhile, watch your weights. As pointed out, running at near maximum or overweight does not do the truck any favours.
As far as the trailer goes, don't rush into it. Do the research. Narrow your wants down to just a few models then go looking. You have all winter. Now is a good time to buy a summer toy, a lousy time to sell one. Whatever you do, don't buy a mistake just cause the price offered was really really good. You will regret it.
Years of research here before buying. It has been 7 seasons since buying & have not seen anything we like better in that time worth a trade.
