As Russ says 16 inch all steel ply LT tires are your friend.
Bridgestone Duravis R250's or Michelin XPS RIBs. Those will raise your trailer a little. It you need more, have a subframe lift done, if you do not have extra holes in the spring mounts.
LT215/85R16E should handle your load.
Post your trailer GVWR and GAWR. These number are on a placard on the drivers side near the front of the trailer.
