depending on the condition of the gas line it could be a relatively easy fix. If it's like mine the gas line is routed to the outer side of the slide via a folding support channel that is designed to support and articulate the gas line as the slide is moved in & out. At the elbow of this arm is where the gas line tends to get pinched when the slide is in and the arm is folded up. There's supposed to be a wire spiral wound cover for the gas line in the elbow area to prevent the gas line from being pinched, but if there isn't enough slack available in the line at the elbow it gets pinched. There should be enough length in the gas line to get more slack at the elbow if you need to. If your gas line has been pinched too many times the line may have taken a 'set' where it now always pinch off when the slide is moved in. If that's the case the gas line has to be replaced.
