It almost sounds like low battery to me... I guess you are on shore power.. Perhaps your converter is no charging your battery as well???
The electronics for your furnaces requires 12VDC from the converter and/or the battery to make it all work...
My furnace blower really pulls the current when I am just running off my battery. PUlls 6-8AMPS DC current. One battery one night is my rule of thumb when running the furnace blower off the battery alone...
