I am not sure about B&W or Reese, put I had a similar issue with my Pullrite when I first got it. In fact it was one of my first posts here, on recomendations of a couple of people I welded two shims on either side of my capture plate to eliminate any movement, the capture plate fits snug. I still utilize the nylon washer and single bolt to tighten it, but the little side to side movement and noise has been eliminated.
