Good job, very simple fix, but the B&W crowd would just as soon just bash any hitch but theres. I got news for them ,B&W has nothing over on the top of the line Reese.
Thanks
I am sure you include me in the "bashing" crowd.
I have owned REESE products in the past along with RBW in my experience the B&W is far superior to what I have owned. I also have and will keep suggesting people compare hitches side by side then decide.
Something I have learned over the years is when someone says something is "just as good as" or "the same as" I will usually buy the product being compared to.
Are you not tearing down Reese hitches to bolster your B&W :?
Have you ever owned a Reese Elite or Signature fifth wheel hitch. If not how can you speak for their lack of superiority to a B&W. If you have I would love to hear the "FACTS" .
Show me where I am "tearing down REESE" as you said.
No I have not owned either but I have looked at them and they do have a similar jaw design but the handle is not even close. That is where people get into trouble is with these handles that are color coated and not just a simple close it and lock it design as the B&W is. I really don't care what you have or anyone else. When the topic of hitches comes up and people are having problems or they want advice on a hitch I am going to give my advice and OPINION and I find it interesting how easily some get all ruffled up and feel they have to defend what they purchased.
Not that it makes the hitches any better but when the big down turn hit and no one was buying anything the owner of B&W paid his employees to do community service projects instead of laying them off. There is a video of this if anyone wants to post it.
