noisy hitch

The picture does show the workings of the B&W. One thing to note if the handle is where the picture shows it, and the jaws are wrapped around the pin ( you can see if you are around the pin) it will not open up. You must install the safety latch pin in the handle, but it ain't opening up. I had a Signature Series hitch in my previous truck (slider, and fixed before the slider) they are very nice hitches, the noise was with the rocking head when not towing on mine. I am certainly not bashing Reese, in fact I still own 2 Signature Series fixed position hitches, they are in storage at one of my shops. I do have them for sale, listed on another site. I believe the jaw system on the Elite and Signature Series is every bit as secure as my B&W, but I wouldn't give up my B&W for another brand. I don't believe you can buy a better functioning hitch than the B&W at any cost, they just work great.
