Noisy slide out
I have a noisy slide out. It is electric gear driven (not a Schwintek). I understand that the only lube to be used should be dry. I purchased graphite lube at Home Depot but it doesn't seem very effec...

I seen other people suggest baby powder to lube the slide rubber seals. Do you get a build-up on the seals after the seals become wet? Or, does the powder just wash off?

Mostly what I seem to see is that the baby powder just "goes away". After a few months, there seems to be none remaining. To be honest, when applying it, there is darn little that is sticking to the seals. I just use an old sock to apply.....pull the sock onto my hand, sprinkle a little powder on it, and start rubbing the seals.
When I bought the camper, the dealer sold me an aerosol can of "Thetford slide rubber lube". I tried it a couple of times, but didn't really like it....it seemed to attract dirt, so it sits on the shelf in the garage.
