You have to first make sure you have adequate clearance in the wheel wells above the tires to do this or will rub. Without an axle flip he likely doesn't have much room in there for a larger diameter tire. Also has to check axle spacing.
Yes, I should have stated "after the suspension modifications". I had the same problem but there was enough to adjustment left in the factory setup to gain one inch and I'm getting my other inch from the taller tires, I was almost 2" nose high myself.
