Just a question.Did NuWa Industries and Peterson Industries merge? The last broad cast I had read was Nuwa was shutting down production in December of last year. This was the last I had read about. I did not see or read anything stating that the two had merged. I did read that they were in discussions. They (NuWa) are on my short list to purchase my FW in the future.Thank YouScott

No, NuWa and Petersen Industries have not merged, at least as of today. NUWA is not taking orders or building new trailers. They are selling several other brands and doing repairs and warranty work at the factory in Chanute, KS. They have an inventory of Hitchhikers in stock, both new and used.NUWA and Petersen did work together on a couple of 5th wheeel trailers but did not go forward with any further production.As Old-Bisquit pointed out try the web site for more info.

Scott NuWa are great trailers and if you have the Young frame that is even a bigger plus. They are heavy and 17.5 rims and tires are much better on the larger ones. They still have service at the factory location. Chris

We bought a 2012 36' Champange, over last Labor Day.was there about 3 weeks a ago
for some minor repairs, all was good .Lots of inventory, but not building any new.hope they
Go back into production , happy withis one so far.

Thanks for all the replies. I was checking the Nuwa Inventory and saw all the 2013 models,thought they had started to make them again. Then i saw the differnt brands of FW. That is why i asked this morning's question. I did register on the NuWa owners Forum to get the latest news.

Your plan of buying a well maintained used NuWa is what we did 9 years ago. We owned and traveled with different brands and never kept any as long as the present HHII. Our 2000 31RDBG is still serving us well. You will find a bunch of friendly folks on the NuWa owners forum who can answer about any thing about the brand you can think of.

My orginal plan was to try and find a 2-3 year old NuWa 30 FK or 327 LK. I will keep track online and see how it works out.
