2006 NuWa Hitchhiker 37CK

After pulling a triple axle and now a dual axle, I would take the triple any day over the dual. You will find that it tows much better and the quality of the HH is great, good luck with it.

Just thinking it would be a good idea to go forward and back after you end up at an rv site to take the tension out of the triple axles.

After 4 new RV's we bought used one that is is my signature. Came from a private individual and got a terrific deal, at least in my mind. Had to drive 1000 miles to pick it up which is kind of scary because you really dont know what your getting until you look at it. Best feeling after an RV purchase I have ever had. Nu-Wa has an archive that has all the old model pics and specs. Dont think you are allowed to post likes to other suppliers but it easy to find.

Were in a large rv park in South Fork Co. Ive never seen so many Discover America. They look very new. Makes it look like they may be building new units. Usually we only have the lighter Hitchhikers at Fun Valley park. Anyway get a good deal and go for it. Should be an excellant unit

We have an 2008 NuWa Hitchhiker 37CKRD and have had it since it was new. As a matter of fact it was and has been our first RV. All I can say is you can't go wrong with a Hitchhiker. We love the 37CKRD floor plan. Being full timer's it works for us great. We pull it with a '08 Ford F450. Like I said, this is our first and only RV and I have never towed anything in the past. I may not be the best in backing into sites, but I still get it done. GO FOR IT!

Champagnes are great trailers but tend to be heavy. Like Norsky, I thought that was a real nice floorplan. I'm on my third NuWa now and really have no interest in looking at other brands.

Unless that trailer was a special order, brakes should be all electric.

MY advice to you: Although NuWa and Hitchhiker have a very good reputation, you are not prepared to buy a RV to live in fulltime. Apparently you have never owned one before and there are plenty of little nuances with any RV so that the learning curve can be big for someone never RV'ed before. Buying something in a day, taking it a thousand miles from home and then trying to live in it fulltime is too much too soon.

Also, that trailer has a hitch weight of about 3,000 lbs. and a gross weight approaching 17,000 lbs. + packed with your stuff. Is your truck REALLY capable of that?

Is that a 37CKRD by chance???


Always loved that floor plan. Fact, love to find a good used one to update to.
