No, NuWa and Petersen Industries have not merged, at least as of today. NUWA is not taking orders or building new trailers. They are selling several other brands and doing repairs and warranty work at the factory in Chanute, KS. They have an inventory of Hitchhikers in stock, both new and used.
NUWA and Petersen did work together on a couple of 5th wheeel trailers but did not go forward with any further production.
