We got everything back together, and the braking is back to normal, which is adequate but wish it had more stopping power. Amps are good. But I'm still interested in the dynamics of the four brakes. Is it possible that when one magnet goes out that the pressure on braking on the opposite side of the axle increases? Does the front axle take more of the brake load? It just gets me that all the other brake shoes have lots of life (they're big shoes), but this one brake has failed twice. I just don't know about the differing loads on multiple axle brakes. Any experts?
