  • Had a good time. Didn't have to haul or push the rzr to the power line. The camp hosts are doing an outstanding job! Very smokey there now.
  • You really don't want to ruin you weekend and get cited. Each Ranger is different that I've came across. Some well let you slide and others are by the book and cite no matter what. I've never been cited myself and I've been spoken to a few times. I've been with others that have been cited. I'm not talking about this area specifically just across the board in CA only. Man..Denver it's awesome and your welcomed!!

Oh Ridge as in Oh Ridge in June Lake?
I recently just got back from a 6 day camping trip there. When we called up there before we left the ranger said the "legal" answer is No, but people do ride out of camp all the time and we don't care as long as they follow the speed limits. Hell, the main trail right out of camp is with in 20ft of the check-in booth.
My friend that camped with us brought his RZR and we road in and out of camp no problem.
  • Come on... it's CA so of course its not legal ;). In fact I have reported your question to the DMV so they can keep an eye out for you.

You could push it to a the powerline trail and be off from there.
  • Hi, the last time I was there (about 1 year ago) You could not legally ride from the campground to the trails. We were told by the camp host to either trailer or push out of the campground.

Where would you be camping at, is your RZR plated?
  • Generally the answer is no. It can give ATVers a bad name if you ride where you're not supposed to. Some areas do allow it and it will be stated. If you're not sure check with the ranger or who ever is in charge of the lands. About the only place I found it was legal and posted was in Utah along the Paiute in various small towns.
