Onan 5500 Generator
Has anyone had any experience converting an Onan 5500 from gas to LP? Can it be done and what are some of the pros and cons?

I haven't been out to the dunes in a while. Next season sounds good to me. Have a couple additions to the toybox that need to get sandy....
Alternate thoughts are always a good thing...
All very good points. I would also be concerned with the 2-100# propane bottles if they were loose in the garage. But with the stove and Refer right behind the front wall, I also plumbed the propane piping with a valved connection into the garage that a regulated crossover valve hose from the tanks can be attached to. Then the tanks are solidly attached to the inner wall of the trailer. No loose fireballs here.....
