One 30 lb and one 20 lb propane tank for versatility?

Both my 30# LP tanks are expired and need to be recerted. I was thinking about swapping out a 30 for a 20 that way I have the option of using an exchange tank if I was in an area or time where a refil...

I will never go the exchange route. These are my tanks and I know how they've been treated, etc. Also, it's way more expensive to go the exchange route.

I also agree with the other poster. When you run one of them dry, just switch over to #2 tank and get #1 refilled at your leisure. That's why these rigs have nice big tanks. I have never even come close to running out of propane.
