One more tire question?

One more tire question, anyone using TOYO tires on their trailer? I currently have BF Goodrich Commercial TA on our 5er but was also looking at the TOYO Open Country H/T Highway All Season-Tire. Any opinions? They are a little less expensive than the BF Goodrich.
  • The Firestone Transforce HT is a cheaper LT that gets good reports. Personally I would spend the money for Bridgestone Duravis R250s. Running them for 6-8 years offsets the extra cost. They are cheaper than XPS Ribs, but just as good.
  • I've had great success with Toyos in other applications. However, in looking at the tread pattern of those you are considering I would be concerned. The middle is heavily siped, for all weather traction, rather than rib construction. Then again I'm only looking at a picture on Toyo's website and perhaps different sizes and load ranges have different tread patterns. Either way, you want to stick with a rib pattern.
