Just wondering when traveling cross-country and stopping in a campground for just one night if people leave their 5th wheel attached to the truck. Is it advisable? Or are there possible issues? Only ...

I have always just plugged up the shore power and went inside. However, abc40kids just made me think. what if you have a medical emergency or some other reason to leave in a hurry. It might not be a bad idea to lower the landing gear after all. Then you could just drop the tailgate, pull the handle and hurry off.
