(Maybe you 5er owners drive Fords ... while us TT owners drive Chevy's?)
I don't think there's too much difference between a 5er and a TT when it comes to the electronics and such... but when we do overnights in the TT we do not unhitch or put jacks down. I do unplug the umbilical cord. Not because it draws off the truck battery, I just feel better knowing it's completely unplugged before plugging into shore power. (I'm old school you know ... I still can't work a cell phone either you know! he, he :B
We don't worry about being perfectly level or rocking in the night, and we do not put the slides out. I only put the slide out after jacks are down, and if jacks are not down because I'm still hitched, slides stay in. My RV dealer recommended putting out the slides only after the jacks are down. Here again, I'm a lemming, so I just followed the advise and so far ... have never been sorry!
Ford guys! You crack me up!
