Just wondering when traveling cross-country and stopping in a campground for just one night if people leave their 5th wheel attached to the truck. Is it advisable? Or are there possible issues? Only ...

Assuming it is late. Just stop in a relatively level spot. Plug in RV to pedestal if available. Use on board genset as required. Unplug Umbilical cord from truck. Open slides only as required to sleep.
