Yeppers on the mileage. I get about 8.5 towing about 18K with my 2006 6-leaker. We are right around 26-27K total depending on how much water etc. I am towing from Tacoma area to oregon dunes mostly, sometimes over tiger summit and snoqualmie to Eastern wa or Id. Yikes!
