I agree that ground is not required on home wiring where the power source uses earth as a ground. Earth provides an electrical path back to source for current leakage to occur and create the imbalance in case of a fault. But does it apply where using a generator and the generator neutral and ground are not bonded and ground is not connected to earth? There would be no electrical path back to the generator for the leakage. Current can’t flow without a closed path to the source.
