Open Range Fifth Wheels
I,m planning to downsize, can anyone comment on the quality of Open Range fifth wheels? I,m interested in the open range lf297rls. Thanks, Bruce

By the sounds of it your looking at a used unit however I'll give you my thoughts on our new unit in case your looking at new.
So far so good with our 2018, only real issue was that the awning screws pulled out but was easily fixed with rivits. I feel they did spend some money in other places beside some of the fancy options like mentioned above. So far I'm very happy with it and do look forward to using it however only time will tell. FWIW, I know Someone with the same model just a 17 and he's had quite a number of issues, his latest issue is the outside fiberglass has started cracking by the bedroom slide. His issues do make me nervous however I think it's luck of the draw and some will be fine and others wont.
