- byrdr1Explorer3 dog night.. sounds like a rock group, :).
Check with Camping Connection/ 843-238-3329. They are on the south side but I am sure they work mobile at all the CG's in that area. A good guy runs the company. They have a place at myrtle and Kissimmee, Fl I think it is. I saw them in Ocean Lakes working on campers in May. CW might have mobile service down there too.
randy - VulcaneerExplorerCheck at the C/G office. They usually know of the good mobile techs. Or good local RV shops.
Here's the way I check mine. If it moves smoothly and easily, and it seals on the inside (when it's out, and on the outside when it's in). And the cables are not rubbing or fraying, it's good.
If it's not good it needs adjustment. I get out my vice grips and 7/6 wrench and adjust til it does as above. Usually about 10 minutes.
I found, I can service these slides as well as most other monkeys. Most of them really do not know what they are doing. Finding expertise on these is a real problem. - glazierExplorer III remember seeing Costal RV services there.
- 3_dog_nightsExplorerFYI - Just got home. I talked to three different companies that were working in the campground. None of them had worked on the OR cable systems before. One said he'd give it a shot but I passed. Don't want to be his "lesson"

Go to the web and go to BAL Inovative Products. That is the cable system OR uses. It gives you a lesson on the cable system. Good Luck and Happy Camping in your OR.
