The cargo capacity of your truck vs pin weight of any of the fifth wheels will be the limiting factor for You.
We have a 2007 2500hd chevy with the duramax as well.
That is why we went with the OR 340 FLR . We wanted the storage of a 5er but the hitch weight of a trailer. The trailer pulls great with a Reese dual cam hitch. NO sway and dead straight even when passing Semi's or buses.
We are very happy with our choice.
