I'd do it. But that's just me. I have a Ram 2500 with less payload. My RAWR would cover the 2500lb pin. My 2500 is just a softened 3500. I load 1500lbs also so that would put the loaded weight around 12,100+lbs. Under my GVW and GCVWR. I also plan on jumping to 18" wheels so I can run a higher load range tire. Won't change the door sticker but won't hurt either.
But I also have a diesel. I don't think I'd want to tow 12,000+ with a gasser. People do it, but where I live there's just too many hills and mountains.
Never driven a V10 but I read that they have good power. Maybe you'd do okay. If you can live being over the trucks GVW and CCC it might be worth a try. Best case scenario you can get a new truck:)
