Opinions needed regarding this floorplan

We had an Outback with a rear door. In addition to the previously mentioned problems with locating next to the pad and wet steps..... when the sofa bed was deployed, I had to climb over the corner of the bed to take the dog out. He didn't mind; he went under.

Access to the bathroom when closed up is one thing my wife checks first.
