Opinions on Crossroads cruiser

I know it probably is not relative, but Crossroads bought our manufacturer and ours was built by Crossroads. It has been great for us so far, and nice folks to work with. They even do some custom work at the factory.

Crossroads builds an OK unit. I really liked them at one time.
I have read that they have recently had a few quality issues. I also understand they have reduced their warranty period from 2 years to 1.
While Crossroads builds a decent unit and may have a more useful floorplan I don't think there overall build quality is as good as a Cameo.

We have the 29BHX Cruiser 5th wheel and have had very good luck with it. Its a 2011 model and a small BH model but suits us perfectly. We of course only use it for pleasure camping and not full time use, though we do use it alot. I don't know that Crossroads quality is what it once was, but I do believe it to be a very good unit. We have only had 2 issues since new that were repaired by our dealer rather quickly. A water leak on the 1st long trip behind the water heater, and a awning arm that wouldn't stay in the lock position when extended. That's it. Not bad I don't think. I say check it out. Especially if the floor plan suits your needs cause that's very, very important.

We are in our second Cruiser, an 05 and a 12. Both have been very good to us with very few issues. They are not of the same quality as a Cameo. We were looking to upgrade to a Cameo before we purchased our 2012 but Cameo was closing down and we opted to go back to Crossroads. If I was to purchase at this price point again I would look back to Crossroads. Lots of changes going on internally within the company at present.
