We love ours. Very pleased with it with zero problems. Far and above the quality of the Raptor we had.
now that you have had your GM toy hauler for a while, how do you like how it tows with a 3/4 ton? They are heavy trailers so I am just curious. Does it pull stable?
Yes they are heavy. 18,000 GVW on the 355. Our Raptor was 15,500 and rightfully so, you can feel it back there. I pulled the Raptor initially with my 07' Duramax and it did just fine, or so I thought until I bought my 11'. While the truck looks the same on the outside, the totally new frame made a world of difference in stability and rigidness. The difference from the 07' to the 11' is night and day.
So yes, the trailer itself pulls just fine. Very stable and it does not scare me at all. I'm sure I am over on pin weight and a dually will definitely be on my short list when I trade trucks. But the only reason I would consider is for the carrying capacity of the duals over the single tires. At least on the Chevrolet, the only difference between a 2500 and 3500 is the addition of a leaf spring (I have bags on the truck to help with the weight) and the duals. Other than that, identical driveline, brakes, ect.
Many of the "Weight Police" on here won't like that but.....oh well.
Towing your rig with a dually will be like your upgrade from the 07 to the 11.
While your current SRW seems fine, once you go to the DRW you will feel the noticeable improvement in stability.
Similar to your 11' upgrade you will have to experience the difference to appreciate it.
