I am hearing conflicting statements about license class required. Some are saying if the fifth-wheel is over 10,000 Lbs I need a class A license. Other places say if the tow vehicle is over 26,000 Lbs...

Just remember, in states that have the license upgrade requirement, it is the listed gvwr that governs this rule, not what the rv scales at on any given day unless your running over gvwr & get stopped by the portable scale Troopers, rv probably odds slim & none.
