From what I've been told in the past, you use your normal EZ Pass and the tollbooths automatically detect the number of axles and charge you accordingly.. So you'll definitely want to keep an eye on your EZ Pass bill, since if I remember right, the PA Turnpike is pretty expensive when towing.
You are correct. I have my "regular" EZ pass on my tv and get charged extra when towing my TT. Just a word of warning. Going over the Delaware river I was overcharged by $10 towing my TT. I checked the web site and they recommend removing the transponder, putting it in the "anti-transmit" bag, paying cash and getting a receipt if you're pulling a trailer. It took me 4 months to get my money refunded because my EZ pass is from NY.
