I didn't think much about it when we did it,but we parked our new FW hooked up in front of our home the first night we brought it home from the dealer. It was late and we didn't want to try to park it at the storage facility when it was dark.
We live in a very nice and quite residential area and as far as I know no one called the police.
The HOA did send me a letter once. They said they had a complaint and gave me a set of rules which I didn't know existed. I have invited everyone on the short street - 11 houses - over to look at the rig - I assume it wasn't one of them.
Basically I can do two nights in a row. Cannot 'live' in the trailer in front of my home. Cannot block the street.
Since I'm more worried about one of the neighborhood teenagers taking the side off the TT than the HOA rules - I only keep it overnight if we are working on it - or leaving very early in the morning.
A kid tore up the entire side of one neighbor's truck a few nights ago.
