Picked New Trailer

Well we don't get to do this very often but we upgraded the RV! We bought a 2014.5 DRV Suites 38 RSSA! Picked it up Thursday and decided to take it on a short trip camping this weekend just to try everything out. There's a couple of new (to us) things we have to learn about. One being never had an RV with the six point level system before. (Boy that'll spoil ya in a hurry!)

Disc brakes, "H" rated LT tires, MorRyde IS suspension, MorRyde pinbox, dual AC's, step-up power 4-step stairs.

Those guys at DRV sure know how to put an RV together.

We're loving it.

  • Thank you!! We WILL enjoy it that's for sure. There's so many things to learn about this unit it's not even funny.

Thanks for the tip about bleeding the brakes, that's another thing new to us. I know, I know the trucks and cars have had them for years I'm just not used to that on an RV.

It's overwhelming all the stuff this RV has. A power management system, WIFI Ranger router. The stairs, push a button and the stairs operate up and down! The wife LOVES that, taking the steps down and putting them up has always been one of her "duties", that just got a whole lot easier!

Thanks everybody for the nice comments, we worked long and hard to afford something like this. We intend to enjoy this RV for a long, long time. My dad always said, "may as well enjoy it while you can cause you take take it with you"! We both know we can't RV/travel forever, so we "splurged" now rather than regretting it later.

  • Love the paint. Lots of details that you won't even discover on the 1st time out because so much to absorb. Our 2nd time out was almost like the 1st as I discovered more "look at this" items and details.

Just a heads up that the disc brakes typically are not bleed great from the factory so check fluid and have system bleed if you experience any delay or weak braking. Randu
