Clearly bad advice. Please let me know which scale this officer works, so next time I am overweight in my commercial truck, he can tell me too, "I would be fine."
Increase your personal umbrella insurance and auto insurance; the next time you are forced to "panic stop" you will need it. Basic Physics: overloaded vehicles cannot stop.

I get that my stopping distance will be effected by the extra 3000lbs. I wonder how much that distance will change... So i dont change the brakes/ in any way, and just slap on two more tires, thats going to stop me faster?? I would like an honest answer for that. The rear brakes are identical on these trucks, srw to drw... I know im overweight. I get this.
IF you are overweight on your commercial vehicle, im sure he would tell you that.
