That is a nice unit!
One thing I have noticed is it seems those 30’ or less have a wardrobe slide instead of a bed slide. I believe this greatly reduces clothing storage. Many of the 30’ to 32’ units seem to have a full front closet, with dressers and many with overhead storage.
We thought so but it's far more storage than it looks. With the wardrobe slide, most beds have wardrobes on each side of the bed where a bed slide doesn't.
All about trade off. Wardrobe slides typically provide a lighter pin weight. - jerem0621Explorer II

I have noticed that too. My Dad recently bought a new fiver (Much lighter than the 15k fiver he had before). It’s a 28 ft trailer and his is a unicorn as it has the bedroom slide.
Here is a linkLink
Thanks!

Mike, does your bedroom step up to a bed platform, or can you walk around the bed at the same floor level as the bathroom?
Like mentioned just above, there is a small step up to the bed.
At 6'2" I was a bit worried about it, but I am able to stand almost upright right up near the head of the bed.....not that I ever have or will. I still have lots of headroom to get into the cabinets where my clothes are.
The way I looked at it was that if I was headed in that direction I was most likely climbing into bed anyway, so in that instance there is plenty of headroom :)
Mike - goducks10ExplorerNot Mike here, but there's a step up for the bed. From what I've seen unless the bed is in a slide then there's almost always a step up. Especially if it's a mid profile type. You can scroll down and see the raised platform in the pic.

- GraycatExplorerWe didn't want anything longer than 28 either. Ours is a 2012 Durango 245. 28' from ladder to kingpin. GVWR is 8800 lbs. Looks like KZ replaced the 245 with 251 which is basically the same plan with an extra closet slide and is a little heavier. 2018 Durango 251. The 2012 had the closet side as an option.
