Thanks for all the info, I'm looking at the Hemisphere 286RL and it only weighs 8,500 (empty) or maybe the 337bar which is 2000 pound pin weight but if I go with that one I do believe I will go with duals for that. I don't have the truck yet, but it will also be my every day vehicle so I don't really want to deal with duals all day but if it's that much better then I can deal with it. The truck I'm looking at is a 2005-2006 crew cab f250 6.0 so I know it can tow it. But I guess the part I'm missing is its a 3/4 ton truck and the pin weight being over 1500 pounds or am I just not missing how the fifth wheel works.
Or is a dually that much better to tow a fifth wheel with? I'll be taking long trips with it or what I'm calling long trips nc to Disney and one or two trips to San Antonio. Thanks again for the info
