Justin, you should not need a DRW truck to handle the FW you are looking at. I will say if you want a diesel, it would be best to look for a SRW 350. I am a Ford guy, but have to say a 6.0, has not been the most reliable diesel.
If you found a 250 with the V10 gas engine, it would have more payload, and make a better daily driver. It would also pull a 10,000 lb. FW quite easily.
The diesel engines are heavy, and use up more payload.
You need to consider the loaded FW weight, for pin weight. The Hemisphere looks like a nice FW, with a dry weight of 8,500. With battery, propane, and all your stuff, it will be around 10,000 lbs., with a 2,000 lb. pin. Plus the FW hitch, another 200 lbs.
