  • You need to give more info on the truck, as 250s are not all the same.

More info needed on the FW also. What is GVWR?

Normally a 3/4 ton would have no problem with a loaded FW weight of 8,500 lbs.

  • Is the GVW of your 33 ft 5er really only 8,440 pounds ? My 35 footer is 14,000.

I only ask because you should use GVW and not empty weight to determine pin weight (20%).
  • Simple formula:

GVWR - The actual weight of the truck (fully loaded) = The max allowable payload (pin weight)

Fully loaded is people, fuel, truck gear, hitch, pets, etc...
  • You should be ok to about 2300 pin weight with a 3/4 ton truck.
