place to stay in DC area
Going to DC area in Oct. and will visit the Tomb of the Unknown, other monuments, and Smithsonian. looking for something close to their public transportation. Don't know anything about the area.

We stayed at Ft. Meade, too. Wonderful RV park. Luckily, Ft. Meade is one of the military famcamps that also allow retired DOD employees to use the park. Some do, most don't. Some allow it during the off-season. Waaaay cheaper than Cherry Hill.
