No I haven't used it. But I tried JB plastic weld it did Not work!

I had the same problem on my Ragen. I dropped it and had it plastic welded. Then I supported it with a 1/2 inch piece of plywood with indoor outdoor carpet. No more bulging between the cross members. So far so good.

I don't think the tanks are moving much, but I figured the hard pipe between the 2 tanks was causing the crack. I was toying with the idea of separating the tanks with using 2 separate drains and maybe a more flexible pex line to join the two.

I've seen some use regular "Bondo" type plastic fillers with success. Just rough up the receiving surface really well, and use some screen for re-inforcement if you have big gaps. Did you strike the plumbing with something, or is the tank jumping around in the mounts? You might want to address that also. I'm going to try the test they suggest on their web site to see if the tank is ABS or polyethylene. If it's ABS I'll get the Plasti-mend otherwise I'll try the thermal plastic welding. I had a local RV shop plastic weld my front cap when it cracked and it came out great.

Usually the FW tank is polyethylene, not ABS. Plasti-Mend is great stuff but it's for ABS.

edit: OK I looked at your other thread. Yes, assuming that is ABS, and it looks like it, Plasti Mend can fix that. You might need more window screen than they provide, but any hardware store can fix you up.

Find a auto body shop and let them plastic weld it
