- RAS43Explorer IIIMeguiars has a complete line of products for fiberglass, including polish. Available at boat stores, auto parts stores, and online. If you are energetic they have a 3 step process for fiberglass that really restores the finish.
- freewayrandyExplorerThanks for the tips on WAX, but I also need to polish the cap as it has dulled quite a bit.

- PhoneDude_8289ExplorerI did mine today with Gel Coat Labs All Marine Surface Sealant. It is a polymer-based surface sealant that offers uv protection. I've been using it for two years, very happy with this product. I do the entire 5er once a year, the nose cap gets done twice.

- tvman44ExplorerA good carnuba wax for fiberglass boats.
- Dennis_M_MExplorerSince I started towing with the HDT there is no bug issue on the fiver, but when I was towing with a pickup Rejex is the best stuff I ever found.
Popular with the private aircraft guys. - RRinNFlaExplorerNo place on your rig is going to be subject to foreign matter (bugs, rocks, etc.) than the front cap. I wax the front cap more often than the rest of the rig.
From my research, I learned there are basically two wax products: natural caranuba wax and synthetic polymer. The natural wax gives a deeper "shine" while the synthetic lasts longer.
