poor cable reception

I have a 2014 Arctic Fox pickup camper and when hooked up to cable tv at any campground, the reception is all snowy. The hookup box on the outside of the camper says " satellite hookup". Is it possible that this hookup will not work for campground cable and only portable satellite hookup?

Sat and cable hookups should be different.

Turn off your built in antenna booster power switch.

But then, why would you expect a connection that says "Satellite" to work with cable?? Might look for the inside end of the cable, If you don't have a satellite receiver, it may not be connected to anything.

connect your tv directly to the park cable connection. Ir that works, then the problem is in your wiring or connections. Anything is possible.
