Does anyone have any experience with these guys in buying or selling an RV? They want to sell my Fuzion 399 toyhauler for me and I am tempted to give them a try. Would appreciate any comments. Thanks
I had a guy from one of these services "bothering" me when I was selling a car in 2011. I finally asked him if it was such a sure thing then why don't you just buy it for my "too cheap" asking price and sell it on your own. The calls stopped...
What really bugged me was that was the only contact I got from a paid ad on Hemmings.
I've seen these services before, and there's almost always a catch. I would read every single line of their terms and conditions, especially noting how the sentences/statements are punctuated.
IMHO, you're selling something that is very common, doesn't necessarily have a small select group of potential buyers, and has a multitude of selling platforms that are completely free. No need for these types of services.
They are not a dealer as such. They say that they do buyer referrals and handle all the transactions if a buyer is found. No upfront charge. They add 10% to your asking price as a fee if the unit is sold. No contract, can cancel with them at any time. They apparently do this for RVs and boats. Thanks,
