Portable air conditioner for the garage?

Is that the difference between the "one hose" and "two hose" model? A fixed ac draws air from the room and cools it. The outside air never enters the room. Given that this is a portable, I understand that the hot side is inside the room and the hot air has to escape somehow. Not sure if I need one vent or two.
