Spent the night in our new Jayco HT 5th wheel. During the night the furnace stopped working and all the lights in the rig are very dim. We have enough propane--the stove works. We have 50 amp service. Any ideas?
Just an update--we called our service dept at our dealership but it was Saturday so only the desk clerk was on. We stopped (without the rv) at a dealership in a neighbouring city and the service tech suggested the converter was faulty. When we got back to the campground, a electrician happened to be in the neighbourhood, and he located a master battery disconnect lever in the storage compartment and turned it on, and all systems were up and running.
Sounds like something not covered by the PDI when you picked it up. You =did= do a PDI, didn't you?
FWIW, my disconnect is in the ceiling, right above the door, and nothing but the slide and landing legs work when it's open. Found out the hard way that the batteries won't charge when open, too.
Frankly, I'm surprised that =any= 12v worked at all, if the master disconnect was open. Not much of a "master" if that's the case.
