I think the automotive is going to Ceramic as well.
They use more brass in Ceramic and less Carbon steel in the pad material..
We changed over to all Ceramic about 4 ½ years ago.

Both Titan and Kodiak (which are now both owned by Dexter) equip their 7k-8k trailer disc brake systems with ceramic pads as their OEM configuration.
