The Raybestos part I pointed to is a hybrid technology of ceramic and semi-metallic to give aggressive performance with longer life.

I am fully aware of everything you mention about brakes as I am a pretty darn good mechanic my self and have one of the best frame and axle guys in the biz as a backup.
