Couple quick items.
- Second the vote for Rock Auto.
- Semi-metallic is the way to go for H-D applications
- Ceramic is preferred for OE installs. Why? Because it has less dust and less potential for squeak. This means less chance of consumer complaints, and better JD Power initial quality reports. Brake dust and squeak was the reason for Porsche's low ratings here, as they use an aggressive pad compound for performance.
That all said, do whatever makes you happy. Many are happy with either choice.
